Not Your Grandma’s Quilt

Quilting isn’t just for your grandma, but it is the best way to warm up as the weather gets colder! Not only are quilted fabrics super comfy for Fall, but they’ve been huge on the runway this season! Designers like Burberry, Thom Browne, J. Mendel, and Michael Kors all have followed suit with the quilted trend.  What I love about the quilted fabrics this season is that the trend is mostly seen in outerwear, especially leather (my personal favorite trend for Fall), like the Christioper Kane jacket below! The hard leather and soft quilting contrast for the perfect edgy and feminine look that you can dress up or down.

TEE for Two

We all have them, and we all love them. It’s a trend that has been around forever, but the classic t-shirt is back! It’s a great staple for any closet and you can pair them with jeans, sweaters or blazers to dress and outfit up or down.  What’s been more popular recently, especially in street fashion, is pairing a neutral t-shirt with a bright pant or skirt to balance the look! Tees are singlehandedly the most valuable asset to your wardrobe because you can carry them from season to season.
